Meet Robert Soul, the author of the graphic novel ‘Ruined My Rhythm.’ It’s a story about a snarky, intelligent outsider, Maria, who, when her mother suddenly dies, sets off to find her estranged father in Tulsa, OK. Maria’s determined adventure takes place amongst a backdrop of familiar and iconic locales.

He will be joined by special guests and fellow writers M.A. Chiappetta and Donna Leahey. M.A. recently published ‘Freaks and Other Monsters’ and Donna is the author of ‘Duped’. Both writers share several short stories in the ‘Dark and Dangerous Things’ anthologies.

Writing Well Workshop

A creative writing workshop that focuses on writing well through understanding the stories of self, others, and the world. Includes interviews and writing tips, as well as excerpts from alternative mediums, such as graphic novels and screenplays, that feature writers from Oklahoma, the surrounding states, and around the world.
Speakers include IPHI writers Adrean Messmer and Jack Burgos.

Donna Leahey and Meg Perdue will be at Decopolis on Friday, Oct 28th, to sign their scary stories just in time for Halloween! Then afterwards you can watch the classic film, Nosferatu, in the park!

Donna will be bringing her dark and twisted novel “Duped” as well as the “Dark and Dangerous Things” anthologies! Meg will be on hand with her gleefully gothic ghosts stories “Wharton Rectory” and “Revelation at St. Dominics”.
